prudently in their own interests. The sons and daughters of light are servants of God and often lack the wisdom to use their possessions in such a calculating way. This is very much in contrast to the simple injunction of Jesus to give up all you have and follow. For here Jesus is saying to use “worldly wealth” (Luke 16:9) wisely.
